so i have this meeting tommorow that I am not to excited about.

i want to write book. i think i will entitle it "hack theology". ( other titles i have wanted to write. "true stories from a lyin S.O.B", "Am i this smart or is the whole world this stupid", and finally a history book about 80 somethings called "the usual gang of hero's/)

I met with some friends last week that were unhappy about alot of the same church situations that make me unhappy. While we would like to be snobbish and leave and do our own thing our town needs another church like a gunshot to the head. We realize that the best thing is for all of us to stay in our current places and just try to work through things. While going off on our own seems so attractive and possible (half of us have worked in the ministry before and I still do currently) we think that it is not something that needs to happen at this time. Shonnie puts it like this, if ruston isn't cool enough lets just make it cool.
